Aisleify Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 10, 2026
The short version
This summary is here to help. The full policy below is what counts.
- We collect only what we need to run Aisleify: your account info, the ads and files you create, and basic usage counts.
- We don't sell your data. We don't share it for advertising. We don't use ad trackers or third-party analytics.
- A handful of trusted service providers help us run the app. They're all named in Section 6.
- You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, and that erases your ads, files and data.
- Questions? Email contact@aisleify.com.
1. Who we are
Aisleify ("Aisleify," "we," "us") makes a web app that lets grocery store owners and their staff design their own sale ads. We're based in California, USA. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Aisleify website and app (the "Service").
Aisleify is a business tool for adults (18+). Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of the Service.
2. What we collect when you give it to us
| What | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account info | Your name, email address, and password (stored in protected, hashed form by our sign-in provider; we never see it in plain text) | To create your account, confirm your email address, sign you in, and contact you about your account |
| Google sign-in info (optional) | If you choose "Sign in with Google": your name, email address and profile picture, as shared by Google | To create and sign in to your account. We never receive your Google password. |
| Your content | Ads and designs you create, photos, logos and product images you upload, text you type, and files you add | To save, display and process your work for you |
| Business info you add | Store name, address, phone number, or other details you choose to put in your ads | To include them in your ads, as you direct |
| AI feature inputs | Text, and any images or details, you submit to an AI feature | To generate the result you asked for |
| Messages to us | Emails you send to contact@aisleify.com | To respond and help you |
| Early-access sign-up | The email address you enter in the sign-up form on aisleify.com, and when you signed up | To contact you about Aisleify early access |
3. What we collect automatically
- Basic usage counts. We keep simple counts of how you use features, for example how many ads you've created, or how many times you've used AI or background-removal features. These counts are stored only in our own database. We use them to run the Service, apply usage limits, and understand which features are used. We do not use third-party analytics tools to track you.
- Technical and security information. Like nearly every website, our hosting and database providers automatically process technical data when you use the Service. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and timestamps. They use it to deliver the app, keep it secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- Sign-in cookies and storage. We use a small number of essential cookies or similar browser storage to keep you signed in and make the app work. See Section 7.
4. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide, run and maintain the Service, including saving your ads and running the features you choose;
- create and secure your account and sign you in;
- send you service emails: for example email confirmations, password resets, security alerts, and important notices about your account or changes to our terms;
- respond to your questions and requests;
- apply usage limits, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the Service secure;
- understand which features are used so we can improve Aisleify;
- enforce our Terms, handle copyright complaints, and comply with the law.
5. What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't share your personal information for advertising, including cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We don't use ad trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics.
- We don't use your ads or uploads to promote Aisleify without your permission.
- Aisleify does not use your content to train AI models.
6. Service providers who help us run Aisleify
We use a small number of service providers. Each one receives only the information it needs to do its job for us.
| Provider | What they do for Aisleify | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, user sign-in, and file storage | Your account info, your ads and uploaded files, usage counts, and related technical data |
| Vercel | Hosts the website and app | Technical data needed to deliver the app (such as IP address and browser info), plus your content as it passes through our app |
| Resend | Sends our service emails | Your email address and the content of the email being sent |
| Formspree | Receives early-access sign-ups from the form on aisleify.com | The email address you enter and when you signed up |
| Google (optional) | "Sign in with Google" | Google processes your sign-in under its own privacy policy and tells us your basic profile info |
| Pexels | Product image search | The search terms you type. When photos load from Pexels' servers, Pexels may also receive standard technical data like your IP address. |
| remove.bg | Background removal | The image you choose to process |
| Anthropic | AI features | The text and other inputs you submit to an AI feature. Under Anthropic's commercial terms for business API customers, Anthropic does not train its models on that content. |
Some providers, like Google, Pexels and remove.bg, also handle data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them.
7. Cookies and similar technology
We use only essential cookies and browser storage, mainly to keep you signed in and to make the app work properly. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't allow third parties to track you across websites through Aisleify.
"Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control: We don't track you across other websites or sell or share your data for advertising. So these browser signals don't change how we handle your information; we already treat everyone as opted out.
8. How long we keep information
- While your account is open: we keep your account info, ads, files and usage counts so the Service works.
- Early-access sign-ups: we keep the email address you entered in the sign-up form until early access invitations are done. Anyone can ask to be removed at any time by emailing contact@aisleify.com.
- When you delete content or your account: it's erased from our live systems right away. Copies in our database backups are automatically deleted within about 30 days as backups cycle out.
- Technical logs kept by our hosting and database providers are deleted on those providers' own schedules, generally after a limited period.
- Exceptions: we may keep limited information longer when we need it to comply with the law, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, or keep records of copyright notices and abuse reports. Emails you've sent us may remain in our inbox.
9. Deleting your account — your data-deletion right
You can delete your account yourself at any time from inside the Aisleify app. You don't need to email us or wait for approval.
When you delete your account, we erase:
- your account and sign-in record;
- all the ads and designs you created;
- all the files you uploaded; and
- your usage counts and other data tied to your account.
Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. Download any ads you want to keep first. Backup copies are cleared on the schedule in Section 8. If you have trouble deleting your account, email contact@aisleify.com and we'll help.
10. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- access the personal information we have about you, or get a copy of it;
- correct information that's wrong (you can also edit most of it yourself in the app);
- delete your information (the fastest way is deleting your account in the app, as described in Section 9).
To make a request, email contact@aisleify.com from the email address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
California residents: California law gives you rights to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to delete it; to correct it; and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there's nothing to opt out of. You can use your other rights as described above, and you may use an authorized agent to make a request for you.
11. Security
We use established providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Connections to Aisleify are encrypted with HTTPS, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password and keep your login private. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we'll notify you as required by law.
12. Aisleify is for adults
Aisleify is a business tool for people 18 or older. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
13. Where your information is processed
Aisleify is operated from the United States. Our database and file storage are hosted in the western United States (Northern California). Some of our service providers may process data in other countries. Aisleify is intended for businesses in the United States.
14. Information in your ads about other people
Your ads may include information about other people, such as photos of staff or customers, or contact details. You're responsible for having permission to include it. If someone asks us to remove content about them from an ad stored in Aisleify, we may contact you or take action under our Terms.
15. If Aisleify changes ownership
If Aisleify is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or reorganization, your information may be transferred as part of that deal. This includes the move to the Aisleify LLC once it is formed. The new owner must continue to protect it consistent with this policy, or give you notice and a chance to delete your account before any material change.
16. When we may disclose information for legal reasons
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it's necessary to:
- comply with a law, court order or valid legal process;
- protect the rights, safety or property of Aisleify, our users or others; or
- investigate fraud, security problems or violations of our Terms.
We'll also share information when you direct us to.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Aisleify grows. When we do, we'll post the new version and update the "Effective date" at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
